BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy 1997

MSc Sports Medicine 2000

Francesca graduated from the University of Manchester in 1997 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.

She gained experience across a wide range of rotations, including orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, respiratory/ITU, acute medical, acute vascular surgery, and general rehabilitation in Greater Manchester.

She later specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries, completing an MSc in Sports Medicine in 2000. Over the years, she has worked in both NHS and private clinics, as well as in the community.

Interesting Fact:

“I speak 4 languages fluently”

In April 2024, she qualified as a Perrin Technique practitioner.

Her interest in the technique began when researching treatments for her son, who developed ME/CFS at the age of 10. The Perrin Technique, combined with rest, pacing, and meditation, significantly helped to reduce his symptoms.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, dancing, spending time with her family, and walking her dog in the Cheshire countryside.
